"Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly." - Langston Hughes
Hi there!
This is shaping up to be an exciting 2015 for me! I have some fun things in the works. Today, I am especially energized, because...
NEW MUSIC UPDATE
Last month I drove a couple hours north of the ATL, into a land with little-to-no cell phone service (it was glorious) and began a new recording project! I had the honor of working with award winning mixing engineer and producer Chuck Harris. We recorded on a baby grand in a church just outside Chattanooga, and then tracked vocals in his home studio, even farther north into rural Tennessee. It was an amazing time creating new songs. I can't wait to share them with you!
As I write this I am listening to a first mix of one of the songs. I love this part of the recording process, hearing my ideas com to life. I think you are going to like it.
To give you a taste of my experience, check out my post "Recording Session [Photos]" on my blog.
SAVE THE DATE
For my Atlanta friends (and anyone else who would like to make a little trip to ATL) I've got a show for you! The last Friday in April, I have a show at Smith's Olde Bar! So, save the date; April 24th at 10 PM in the Atlanta Room. I'll give you more info as we get closer to the show. Until then, save the date!
P.S. You can track me via Bandsintown or SongKick to get emails specifically about my upcoming shows in your area.
YUP, MORE VIDEOS
